Important Considerations
-
Cash is accepted for the balance of your stay, but a credit or debit card is required for the initial deposit.
-
Prepaid cards are accepted for incidental deposits.
-
Guests are responsible for any damages or losses they cause.
-
For any disputes or questions about charges or your stay, contact the front desk directly.
Potential Charges
To guarantee your reservation, a one-night charge will be processed at the time of booking. Early check-out or cancellations may not be refunded. Incidental charges, such as room damages, mini-bar purchases, or late check-out fees, may result in additional charges.
Refund Processing
-
Refunds on charges typically take 3-5 business days to process. However, in some case, up to 20 business days. Refunds to credit cards may take longer than refunds to bank accounts. The motel has no control over the speed that your individual banking institution releases the hold on funds.
-
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Reversal of Incidental Deposit
A pre-authorization is a temporary hold on funds and is not an actual charge. Incidentals may include, but are not limited to, room damages, mini-bar purchases, or late check-out fees. It is standard practice in the hospitality industry to require a valid credit or debit card on file. When a pre-authorization is voided by the motel, the hold on funds is released. Please note that the time it takes for the released funds to become available in your account is determined by your financial institution and may vary. The motel has no control over the speed that your individual banking institution releases the hold on funds.
If you have a question regarding a voided pre-authorization, our motel staff will verify the voided status within our payment processing system. If the system confirms that the pre-authorization has been voided, you will be informed that the funds have been released on our end.
-
You will be provided with the date and time that the pre-authorization was voided, as well as a receipt copy. We will also provide you with the following statement: "Please contact your financial institution for information on when the released funds will be available in your account. The time frame for fund availability is determined by your bank and is outside of the motel's control."
-
Once the motel has confirmed the voided status and provided the above information, further communication regarding the availability of the funds will be directed to your financial institution. The motel will not engage in repeated discussions or provide further documentation beyond initial confirmation of the voided transaction and the provided date and time. All communication and verification regarding voided pre-authorizations will be documented.
Reservations Confirmation:
-
Making a request does not guarantee a confirmed booking.
-
Reservations are only confirmed upon providing a valid credit or debit card or processing a payment. We do not accept bookings made through third-party services.
-
Guests must contact the motel directly to finalize and secure their reservations before the 10:00 pm EST deadline.
By understanding these key points, guests can make informed decisions about their booking and avoid any unexpected costs.
