Motel Policy Rules

We strive to provide our guests with an exceptionally clean, safe, and friendly motel experience.  The following Motel Policy Rules have been established based on industry standards, management and operational procedures, and our personal experience of owning and operating the Orange Motel since 1990.  These Motel Policy Rules are considered a part of our reservation agreement with you.  As our motel guest, by reading and signing your motel registration you are agreeing to abide by all of our Motel Policy Rules, terms and conditions, and procedures.  These Motel Policy Rules are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between the Orange Motel and the guest. 

CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURE

EARLY CHECK-IN (additional fees may apply)  Early check-in is offered based on availability. If a reservation is made online it is non-guaranteed.  Please contact Front Desk staff directly to make a guaranteed reservation and complete a credit card authorization form prior to your arrival. Guests may check-in AFTER 3:00 PM (front desk time) on stated arrival/check-in date.

 

(3:00 pm) CHECK-IN  The primary guest must be at least 21 years of age to check-in at the Orange Motel.  In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government issued photo identification (State driver’s license, passport, etc.) at check-in.  We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservations including first and last name, address, phone number, and signature.  The names of all guests occupying the room must be registered.  Information regarding your license plate/car description is also gathered at check-in for security.  By Law visitors must present personal documents for motel records. A valid, signed, and pre-approved credit card in the name of the guest registration is also required.  It is your responsibility to fully understand the manner in which your bank processes pre-authorizations and charges to your credit/debit card.  Some banks hold pending authorizations for up to 30 business days. All room occupants must be registered with the front office.

(11:00 am) CHECK-OUT  Room rental period expires at 11:00 am.  Please check-out with Front Desk or drop your key and parking passes in the key drop by the office so that housekeeping may begin cleaning your room as soon as possible.  After room inspection your security deposit will be voided.  If the deposit is by card, you don't need to come to the office and a receipt will be texted/emailed to you.  An additional day charge, plus tax may apply for late check-outs. Late check-out is subject to availability and may be available if requested with advance notice.  If you require a later check-out, please contact Front Desk prior to the day of your departure and we will do our best to accommodate your request.  If your personal belongings are still in the room after check-out time and you have not arranged a late check-out with the front desk in advance, you will be charged for an additional night's stay.  Check-out time is strictly enforced. There will be no exceptions unless pre-arranged. On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry or period the management shall have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the Guest.

SPECIAL REQUESTS AND HANDICAP ROOMS  We will make every effort to honor special requests such as disabled and pet rooms upon your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations, and we will do our best to accommodate.   However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.  Two ADA compliant guest rooms are available and should be reserved in advanced; please contact the motel directly (352) 394-3595.

ROOM RATES AND DISCOUNTS  All rates are quoted in United States currency, plus tax.  Rates may increase without notice.  Rates as advertised on the Orange Motel website or any other website or promotional material are subject to change at any time and may increase or decrease at the hotel’s discretion.  The Maximum number of people allowed per room is dependent on the room type booked, so please contact the motel for more information for your individual reservation. We currently do not offer discounted room rates for participation or employment in organizations such as AAA, AARP, government employees, etc.

PAYMENT  All reservations and registration must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card.  We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Card.  Pursuant to credit card agreements, credit cards are not valid unless signed by the cardholder.  Credit cards must be signed.  Cash (USD) payment is welcomed with a signed and pre-authorized credit card on file.  All guests are required to present a valid major credit card and government issued photo identification even if guests are planning on paying in cash.  Checks and foreign currency not accepted.

ACCEPTABLE MAJOR CREDIT CARDS

SECURITY DEPOSIT  A valid major Credit Card must be on file, or a pre-authorization of $250 incidental deposit for guests using Cash/Debit. The cardholder must be present with a matching government issued photo ID unless a Third-Party Credit Card Authorization has been submitted to the motel in advance. Credit/Debit Card must have cardholder name printed/embossed on its front and correspond to a registered guest. "Pre-paid" Credit Cards/Cash Cards are not acceptable.

 

CANCELATION AND REFUNDS  For card refunds, once you drop the key and parking passes/visitor pass and the room inspection is passed and completed; the hold will then be released back into your account. You do not need to come to the front office for refunds unless it is a cash deposit. Cash refunds will not be refunded until the room is thoroughly inspected by the front desk/housekeeping. Housekeeping work hours start at 9:00 am. Therefore, cash deposit for incidentals will not be inspected and cash will not be returned until after 9:00 am. 

 

The Orange Motel is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours, prior to your arrival date.

RESERVATION AND PAYMENT FOR GUESTS BY THIRD PARTY  Generally, third party payment is not permitted.  In the case of paying for a family member if you will not be physically present at the motel, we require prior completion and approval of a Credit Card Authorization form including a copy of your driver’s license and the front and back of your signed credit card.  You will be responsible for any and all damages and loss.  We reserve the right to refuse reservation at any time for any reason.

It is the responsibility of the guest to inform the front desk staff of any issues within their stay prior to checkout. Any issues within their stay prior to checkout. This will guarantee that the front desk staff has an opportunity to try and help resolve those issues. If guest waits until check-out to inform front desk staff of any and all room issues it will not allow the motel to resolve their concerns.

Our Check-outs are at 3:00 pm and Check-ins at 11:00 am. It requires a minimum of 4 hours before the room is cleaned, inspected and available to rent.​​

TERMS & CONDITIONS

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE 

The Orange Motel is privately family owned and operated since 1990.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws.  Orange Motel has a zero-tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in our motel or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by the State of Florida and the owners for the operation and management of the motel. Orange Motel will refuse service or evict a guest: for refusal or failure to pay for accommodations, is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests or is not in compliance with state liquor laws; acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, seeks to use the motel for an unlawful purpose; seeks to bring into the motel: an unlawfully possessed firearm; or something, including an explosive or hazardous or toxic substance, that is unlawful to possess and that may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm to motel property or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of room, refuses to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by Orange Motel for the operation and management of our motel.

 

It is agreed that the guest will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the motel premise.  The Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the motel forthwith, without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of the default, the Management has the right to remove the Guest luggage and belongings from the room occupied by him/her.  Our Motel Policy Rules may change from time to time, so please check back often.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEO'S

Using photographs and video's taken in the motel for commercial or public purposes is illegal without permission. Those who do so will be subject to prosecution. THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES TO ITSELF THE RIGHT TO ADD TO, OR ALTER OR AMEND ANY OF THE ABOVE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND RULES WHICH ARE A PART OF AND AN ABSTRACT OF THE LODGING ACT.

COMPANY’S RIGHT TO CANCEL ERRORS AND/OR MISTAKES
The Site may contain technical inaccuracies and typographical or other errors in connection with information displayed on the Site, including without limitation rates, fees, or availability applicable to your transaction. Company assumes no responsibility or liability for such errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Company shall have the right not to honor reservations or information affected by such errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. Company shall have the right to make changes, corrections, cancellations, and/or improvements to such information or reservations based on such information, at any time, including after confirmation of a reservation. Please check our website regularly for updates to Motel Policy Rules.
